Protection at the point of access
The Leading Edge Safety Roof Hatch Guardrail System surrounds the hatch opening with rails, handholds, a walkout area and a self-closing gate for the ladder-to-roof transition.
What changed in the 2026 design
Mounting brackets and upright posts now install separately. The new design breaks the system into smaller, lighter components, making each piece easier to handle and position during installation. The included predrill template helps accurately locate mounting holes before installation.
- Use the included hole template to locate mounting holes.
- Install the series-specific mounting brackets.
- Position and fasten the separate upright posts, then complete the rails, ladder grabs, walkout components and gate as shown in the current manual.
Select the system for your hatch
30X, 36X and 48X identify nominal hatch-width series. Actual fit is based on outside drip-edge dimensions, hatch construction and exit direction. Same-side and 90-degree layouts have different dimensional limits. Standard, XL and XXL extensions apply to eligible same-side layouts.
